December / Christmas Freight Delays
Christmas usually creates a heavy demand on the freight network around Australia. This year in particular, has seen a further increase in online shopping resulting in further delays – not only because of extra online purchasing, but also changes in the frieght depots to accommodate distancing.
Our team at AutoSmart Retail will always endeavour to get your order out to you as soon as possible. Most customers are receiving their orders within 5 days of ordering.
At this time of year, it is especially important to keep an eye on your tracking details to see if there has been a problem delivering your order. If the delivery is taking an unusually long time – please contact us via email so we can follow it up with the courier.
Generally most orders are despatched from our warehouse within 48 hours of when you place the order. Below is an estimate for the time frame for your delivery.
Covid-19 delays – we have adjusted our time frames below to accommodate delays in deliveries. Covid-19 has meant courier networks are running flat out at this time with extreme delivery volumes which are causing delays in deliveries.

We do not deliver to Island destinations. Australia Mainland and Tasmania only.
We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order where the cost of freight is beyond reasonable for the order to be completed.
